About Tim Carwell
Tim Carwell is a citizen of the Beaver First Nation and was raised in Sherwood Park, Alberta, He has been with his wife Tanis for 36 years. They have three grown children and three grandchildren, and now call Canmore, Alberta, their home. He is the CEO of the CommAlert Group of Companies. For the past 17 years, under his stewardship, the company has maintained a diversified portfolio, expanded across Canada, and now serves customers globally. Tim and his wife Tanis have used their good fortune as a platform to help others. They have a particular interest in supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs and building social enterprises. Together through their foundation, Gloria’s Dreams Tree, and their social enterprises, Reconciliation365 they focus their energy on projects that help spread goodwill and build economic opportunity. Reconciliation365, encourages businesses and individuals to participate in cultural reconciliation programs or economic projects through either an annual membership or a more immersive experience. Reconciliation365 partners with businesses by providing two access points for organizations or individuals to engage aptly called The Champions Effect and Amplify Reciprocity.
