About Tamara Woolgar
With a career in public relations spanning more than 20 years in corporate, agency, and freelance environments, today Tamara is Executive Director of the A100.
The A100 is a non-profit, member-funded organization of experienced tech founders and executives. Formed in 2010, A100 members are dedicated to growing the next generation of tech and innovation leaders through advising and mentorship, providing deal flow pathways, and informing policy through thought leadership.
The A100 also operates Start Alberta, the most comprehensive database on startups and funding in the province. Start Alberta provides insights on the health of the regional innovation economy while showcasing the Alberta startup ecosystem to the world.
Tamara is biracial and an activist for DEIB initiatives, including contributing to The51’s Community Council. Her memoir, “A Flawless Mistake: Tales From a Beautiful Life of Colossal F*ckups” was published in July 2020 by Friesen Press.
