About Maria Gomez Rachelle
Dr. Maria Gomez Rachelle is the CEO of Silicon Valley-based consulting firm, Living Leadership Today, and a trailblazer in human-artificial intelligence (AI) research. Dr. Gomez Rachelle earned her doctorate studying human/mindfile-based AI research in a university classroom, and today she focuses on human-augmented intelligence and artificial intelligence teaming
Prior to her research work in artificial intelligence, Dr. Gomez Rachelle was an ICU nurse, clinical research authority in biopharma, and a respected educator.
As a critical care nurse, Dr. Gomez Rachelle’s work focused on enhancing patients’ quality of life in surgical, medical, and oncology settings.
Dr. Gomez Rachelle also worked as the Global Clinical Program Manager in oncology and gene therapy at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer and Sanofi-Aventis, and she also served as Director in Oncology at Genentech where she supervised human clinical research in support of the development of cancer treatments.
Dr. Gomez Rachelle also served as Development Sub-Team Leader for the multi-billion-dollar Rituxan® franchise, and she contributed to the development of early-stage oncology drug therapies at Roche’s Genentech Research and Early Development (gRED) unit. During her tenure in drug development she gained the approval of seven FDA-endorsed oncology drug applications.
Dr. Gomez Rachelle now works to improve quality of life by integrating technology into education, business, and society with human-augmented intelligence and artificial intelligence teaming.
