About Oleta (Leta) LaRush
Leta LaRush is the Director, Business Development and Innovation at BASF Canada and a member of BASF’s Canadian Leadership Team. Leta is a forward-thinking, creative, and passionate leader, as well as an influential speaker and advocate for innovation and sustainability in the chemistry industry.
In her current role, Leta is responsible for Canada’s growth strategy and implementation, which includes oversight for marketing and sales activities for several of BASF’s business units in Canada. In addition, she oversees innovation and strategic partnerships, working with customers, industry associations, supply chain partners, government representatives, academia, and start-ups.
Prior to this role, and since joining BASF in 2011, Leta has served the company in various roles ranging from corporate affairs, customer strategy, and marketing. Most recently, Leta was delegated to Australia as Head of Marketing, Agricultural Solutions, Australia and New Zealand.
