Julian Klymochko

Julian Klymochko is the Founder, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer of Accelerate, Canada’s leading provider of alternative investment solutions. He has specialized in running hedge funds and alternative strategies since 2009. Prior to founding Accelerate, Julian was the Chief Investment Officer of Ross Smith Asset Management. He started his career as an Analyst at BMO Capital Markets. Currently, he is a Director of the CFA Society Calgary.

Julian is recognized as one of Canada’s leading experts in alternative investments and frequently speaks at industry events. He has been featured in some of the world’s top financial and business media including Bloomberg, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, BNN, Business Insider, and The Globe and Mail. He is the author of the book Reminiscences of a Hedge Fund Operator and host of the Absolute Return Podcast.

Julian attended the University of Manitoba, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), both with distinction. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
