Ben Reeves

Ben leads the integration of software engineering, data science, and technology to drive innovation and performance across Viewpoint Investment Partners’ quantitative investment strategies. He brings his specialization in merging modern software practices with advancements in AI technologies to bear with the goal of making institutional grade portfolio management scalable and accessible to everyone – from pension funds to his own grandmother. Over the past 7 years, Ben and his team have grown Viewpoint into a Canadian leader in applying quantitative and AI empowered techniques to automate decisions and drive investment performance in liquid, public markets.

Ben is committed to making Calgary a Canadian leader in the high-tech data sector. To that end, he acts as one of the Founding Directors and Chair of the Board at the YYC Data Society, as well as contributing to locally-oriented angel investment initiatives.
