A keynote conversation with Ryan Carson of Treehouse
Education has been delivered pretty much the same way for hundreds of years. The Web, however, is starting to shove aside the status quo as new ways are created to deliver and consume education anywhere, any time and any place.
At mesh, we’ve been talking about how the Web has changed the way we learn and teach. This year, we felt it was time to have a keynote so we could do a deep dive. Treehouse, created and led by Ryan Carson, has developed an extensive library of step-by-step video courses and training exercises that give their “students” (we mean, clients) a wide range of competitive, in-demand technology skills.

No experience needed and no pre-reqs required. Treehouse has a seemingly simple mission: bring affordable technology education to people everywhere so they can achieve their dreams and change the world. In the process of building Treehouse, will Ryan and his team at Treehouse change the world themselves? Ryan will talk about the evolution of education, and how his company, Treehouse, is playing a key role in the process.
