Would You Like to be a Friend of mesh?

By mesh news, mesh09

One of the new things we launched for mesh ’09 was the Friends of mesh program, a user-friendly way to get involved as a mesh sponsor.

We’re started to see a growing number of inquiries of what’s involved so here are the details:

For $1,500, you get a ticket to mesh, your logo on the mesh Web site and on screen at the conference, as well as an invitation to only VIP social function. You can register here.

Hey, Students: In a 140 Characters or less…

By mesh09

Since we launched mesh in 2006, we’ve focused on making the conference accessible to attract a diverse group of attendees. This includes students, who are offered discount tickets. Not surprisingly, student tickets sell out within days.

This is why we’re so excited about a new contest sponsored by Royal Bank of Canada, LaBarge Weinstein and Maple Leaf Angels/401 Bay. The prizes are three mesh tickets for students.

Here’s how to enter the contest: In 140 characters (or less), tell us why you want to attend mesh. Sure, it could be a challenge with such little real estate but a little creativity can go a long way.

Then, send your entry to mark@markevans.ca.

We’ll select the 10 best entries, put them in a hat, and then the fine folks from Royal Bank of Canada, LaBarge Weinstein and Maple Leaf Angels/401 Bay will pick the three winners.

Here are the contest rules:

1. To participate, you need to be enrolled as a post-secondary, university or college student. (If you win, you’ll need to bring some student ID to mesh)

2. Entries are limited to 140 characters or less.

3. The deadline to submit your entries is March 27 at 6 p.m. (EST). Winners will be selected by April 1.

4. Each winner receives one mesh ticket.

Good luck!
