#mm12 is mobile!

We partnered with Panvista to have them develop an official app for our meshmarketing12 conference.  If you are looking for good folk to work with, you couldn’t be in better hands then with this team.

mesh conferences, developed by Panvista, is the official app for #mm12.

You can download the app on your iPhone, Blackberry, Android smartphone or iPad for quick-access to the agenda, in-depth session descriptions, venue details and sponsorship information.

The social media details will allow you to quickly connect and follow your favourite keynote speakers.

See you at meshmarketing12 on November 7th!

Hello, Hailo; Welcome to meshmarketing

By meshmarketing

hailoBy Justin Kozuch, Hailo

It’s that time of year again! meshmarketing is almost upon us, and I’m really looking forward to another great day of marketing content. I’m particularly excited about Kristina Halvorson‘s session on “Content Strategy”.

Hailo Toronto is proud to be sponsoring this year’s meshmarketing, and we’re equally proud to be part of Toronto’s technology community. We’ve had the opportunity to meet many incredibly talented members of Toronto’s entrepreneur and marketing community over the past few months, and we’re looking forward to continue building relationships with each of you.

If you’re attending meshmarketing, I’d love to have you try the Hailo service. To get started, download the Hailo mobile application and sign up. Once you’ve completed the signup process, enter “MESHMARKETING” to get $10 off your cab ride to our from the event. (Here’s a quick how-to guide for entering promo codes.)

Don’t forget to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for updates, promotions and other Toronto-centric content.

In the meantime, I’d like to extend an invite to each of you. We’d love to have you come down to the Hailo Toronto office for a tour, and to meet the team that is helping to make the taxi cab experience better for Torontonians. If you’d like to come by, send me an email and I’ll get you squared away.

Until then, I look forward to seeing you at meshmarketing!

Raising a Glass to mesh Sponsor WineAlign and Grant Burge

By meshmarketing

wineWine, like mesh, brings people together. So, it only makes sense we’d bring you a networking lunch, with a glass (or two) to sample!

With the support of Trialto, we are bringing two delicious wines to your table at the meshmarketing lunch on November 7.

You’ll have an opportunity to sample the Grant Burge Summers Chardonnay 2010 and Grant Burge Miama Shiraz 2010.  Make sure to click on the links to see some great footage from Grant Burge himself commenting on these wines!

On top of that greatness, a long time friend of mesh and Head Wineaux at WineAlign, Bryan McCaw, will be offering two free month’s of WineAlign exclusively to meshmarketing attendees. Enter the promo code mm12 to redeem.

What is this magnificent thing called WineAlign you might be asking.

WineAlign was born out of frustration with shopping at the LCBO.   Instead of guessing which wine to buy (aka wine roulette), WineAlign arms you with information to confidentially purchase, for example, the best New Zealand Pinot Noir under $25 in your local store.

The site is synched with the LCBO inventory so it only shows the wines available in your store ranked by quality and filtered by whatever price, varietal or country you are looking for.

When you see a review for a wine at the LCBO it is generally the best reviews the LCBO can find from anyone, anywhere in the world.  Often the critical consensus on a wine is far different.

WineAlign site gathers together Canada’s top wine critics to rate and review every wine at the LCBO.   There are usually multiple reviews for every wine so a consensus can develop.   Users can also review wines, build a wine cellar, pair wine with food, etc.

WineAlign was in part, inspired by attending a mesh conference back in 2008.   Now almost four years old, WineAlign is now getting over 100,000 unique visitors per month, is Canada’s largest wine community and will be expanding to British Columbia in November and Quebec next spring.   They were recently ranked #85 on Canada’s Top 100 Startups .

We think it’s a great site but it comes with a warning:  if you use WineAlign you’ll end up drinking way more…..great wine.
