TVO’s The Agenda at Mesh 2011

By May 26, 2011mesh news

As they did in 2010, the team from TVO’s The Agenda show — including its excellent host Steve Paikin and show producer extraordinaire Mike Miner — will be taping an episode of the show at mesh. The panel, which will be looking at the successes and failures of politics and campaigning in a networked and wired world, will be taping on Thursday at 1:20 p.m. in the lobby of the Allstream Centre and mesh attendees are encouraged to attend, although space is somewhat limited. Use the hashtag #youragenda to participate online.

The panel will feature:

  • Charlie Angus, MP for Timmins – James Bay, whose party rode an “Orange Wave” out of third-party status.
  • Tony Clement, MP for Parry Sound-Muskoka and president of the federal Treasury Board
  • Micah Sifry, co-founder of the Personal Democracy Forum and techPresident
  • Jesse Brown, host of TVO’s Search Engine
  • Wilf Dinnick, CEO of Toronto-based OpenFile

For more info and video once the show is done, check out The Agenda website.
