How to Design for Love
There’s been a paradigm shift in business over the last 20 years. Users and customers don’t want companies to just exist and take their money. They want a relationship. They want to fall in love. And when it comes to software and the Internet, where you don’t have the benefits and reminders of face to face interactions, it’s easy to forget how a little love goes a long way. In this workshop, we’ll brainstorm and look at how companies and their products are wooing their users, keeping the romance alive and sustaining lasting relationships that turn out to make for profitable returns.
Kevin Hale - Bio:
Kevin Hale is the Co-founder of Infinity Box Inc, a Y Combinator seeded company. He is responsible for safe guarding and designing the user experience of their online HTML form builder, Wufoo. Kevin writes about interface design issues for the web development blog, Particletree and served as Editor-in-Chief of the web development magazine, Treehouse. As a child, Kevin was the kid in class who who ate a box of crayons for a dollar.
